Veneers & Lumineers
Here at Tracey Bell, we use Dental veneers to improve and our philosophy is to provide you wih great restorative care enhance a smile as seen in a smile makeover.
Porcelain veneers allow discoloured, misaligned and crooked teeth to be corrected, producing a smile that can be whiter, brighter, straighter and most of all more natural looking.
Porcelain veneers can be used either singly or as a group to improve a smile, and, at Tracey Bell, we understand that each smile makeover is individual to you. Veneers are similar to false fingernails, simply adhered to the front of a natural tooth.
Dependant on the case, the tooth may or may not need to be prepared ‘drilled’; this is dependent on the smile design requested.

Many types of porcelain veneers exist. At Tracey Bell we offer a selection of types of veneers and offer the opportunity to discuss the type of veneer and
options most suitable to you and your budget.
We can also offer you a variety of alternatives Veneers are not always necessary.

LUMINEERS
LUMINEERS are the pain-free veneer option that allows you to transform the appearance of your teeth. The painless LUMINEERS, help us at Tracey Bell to create a healthy and natural looking smile.
Smiling should not be stressful or embarrassing. With LUMINEERS, we can create a smile where a lengthy, enduring and uncomfortable procedure is eliminated.
LUMINEERS are ultra thin and custom designed. Unlike traditional veneers, there are no shots, no drilling of sensitive tooth structure, and no pain. They are even reversible, so you have nothing to lose and a beautiful smile to gain.
Traditional veneers are porcelain sleeves which are placed over teeth through a process that can demand extensive and irreversible cutting away of healthy tooth structure. This can require multiple painful shots and many visits to the dentist with long appointments.
Once teeth have been cut away, temporary crowns are placed on the teeth while the traditional veneers are made, which can take months. The temporaries are then removed, potentially requiring shots again, and the permanent veneers are placed. Sometimes additional appointments are required to ensure that bite is correct.
LUMINEERS offer an easier alternative to achieving your desired smile.
The Benefits of LUMINEERS at Tracey Bell:
Painless procedure
Sensitivity-free results
Permanently white results that last
Quick and easy process
Last for up to 20 years
LUMINEERS with LUMINATE in LUMITray Technology
And now, in addition to LUMINEERS, you can enquire with Tracey Bell about LUMINEERS with LUMINATE in LUMITray Technology. It is a new technology that allows us at Tracey Bell to place your veneers all at once, instead of individually. We also offer a digital design with preview technology, saving you a great deal of time, as you only require two visits for the treatment.
During your first visit a precision mold will be taken. You and your dentist will also choose the right shade for your new smile. On your second visit, your custom designed LUMINEERS are checked for fit and shade. Then, they are painlessly attached.
While traditional veneers involve a much longer, more painful process that can take months, LUMINEERS placement is quick and pain-less. A healthy, natural, permanently white smile of your dental dreams: all in only 2 visits.
As with all elective treatments, LUMINEERS come with great benefit, but also with risk. Our clinicians are more than happy to discuss any concerns with you.
RISKS OF VENEERS
As with any elective dental treatment, there are great benefits but there may also be risks involved. Our clinicians at Tracey Bell are more than happy to discuss any concerns with you.
- Dental health can be compromised if performed by an incompetent dentist. Make sure you do your research correctly and ask to view testimonials and see photographic evidence
- Surgical mistakes can be made- the removal of too much enamel or incorrectly bonding the veneer to the tooth structure
- If the veneers are bonded incorrectly, veneer shifting can occur. The veneers will move either laterally or longitudinally- the veneers therefore recede from the gum line. This can lead to tooth decay
- Take your time to ensure the dentist you’ve selected is a qualified and competent one
- Ensure that you’ve read up on all the necessary material to get an idea of the scope of your responsibilities once you are outfitted with dental veneers
